Don’t take my word for it, but "HA" likely stands for "Home Appliances," encompassing products like refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and other household appliances.

"HE" likely represents "Home Electronics," including televisions, audio systems, and other similar electronic devices.

"IM" likely represents "Home Information Technology & Mobile Communications," including smartphones, telecommunication systems, printers, and computers.

Lastly, if you join the UK program on Awin, you earn a 3% commission (2% when a voucher code has been used).

Can You Make $1,000 a Month as a Samsung Affiliate?

Let’s do a simplified hypothetical example of what it would take to earn $1,000 with the Samsung affiliate program.

Since most of you reading this will have a US audience, I will use the Flex Offers commission. 

Let's assume that, on average, you will earn $24 a commission (that would equal selling a Samsung product that costs $800). 

To earn $1,000 with such a commission, you would need to get around 42 sales. 

The higher the product price, the lower the conversion rate you can expect. 

For this example, I will assume your content with Samsung affiliate links will have only a 0.3% conversion as the price is quite high. 

With a 0.3% conversion rate, you would need around 14,000 traffic.

How to Make Money with the Samsung Affiliate Program

Samsung has a lot of products, and it might be tempting to promote products across many categories. 

However, I would recommend first producing a lot of content around one category and establishing some authority. This is especially important if you are starting a new WordPress website. 

When you select your category, do keyword research to see what keywords have low competition. Never go after more competitive keywords with a new website. 

In general, keywords with lower competition will have smaller search volumes, so you will have to produce more content, but that’s how it is. You must build your way up to better keywords with bigger search volumes. 

First, focus on informational posts, which are easier to rank for, and you will find more keyword opportunities. Informational posts are called informational because people searching for these keywords don’t have a buying intent. 

For example, if you wanted to promote Samsung smartphones, you could have content titled "Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus Tips and Tricks". 

When you start getting some traffic to your informational posts, start creating transactional content. 

An example of transactional content could be a comparison of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus. 

When people search for Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus vs. Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, there is a high probability they are planning to buy one of these two phones.

Samsung Referral Program

Besides the affiliate program, you can also join the Samsung referral program. 

To join the referral program, you must have a Samsung account. 

Unfortunately, the Samsung referral program is only available for people with US Samsung accounts. 

I have a Samsung account but not the US one, and I got this notice:

"Your Samsung account is not eligible to earn or redeem Samsung Rewards points for this purchase as it is not a US account."

If you have a Samsung account, you will get a unique referral code that you can send to your friends or family members. If they purchase with your code, they will receive a 5% discount, and you earn Samsung rewards points. You can earn up to $100 per order and $1,000 per calendar year.

Samsung does not disclose how they calculate the points, but obviously, the more expensive the product, the more Samsung rewards points you get. 

Within 1-3 business days following the conclusion of the 14-day return period for purchases made by your referred friends, you will receive your reward.

Please note that not all products are eligible. 

"Ineligible product categories include televisions, television accessories, soundbars, home appliances, home appliance accessories, wearables, and wearable accessories."
